The wedding ceremony will be held at Union Baptist Church, located at 1219 Druid Hill Ave, Baltimore, MD 21217 at 3:30pm followed by the reception which will take place at the Historic, Lord Baltimore Hotel located at 20 W Baltimore St on Saturday, June 15, 2024. There is a 7-minute commute from the church to the reception hall.
For those staying at the host hotel, shuttles will be provided to and from the church.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is Black Tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo and women wear a floor-length gown. Please see the picture below for reference.
What is Black-Tie Attire?
A tuxedo is often a first choice for gentlemen, however, you can opt to wear a suit instead. A black-tie event typically means wearing a plain black necktie or bow tie. For my ladies, a full-length evening gown or Tea Gown is the norm. Generally, due to most black-tie functions taking place in the evening, guests are expected to stick with darker colors, like navy and gray, and deeper jewel tones, like emerald, sapphire, or burgundy. However, feel free to wear the color that suits you best (other than white of course :)).
Are children welcomed?
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration (ages 18+). We hope this advance notice means you’re able to plan in advance, let your hair down, and celebrate with us on the day!
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We've organized a room block at the Lord Baltimore Hotel for our guest traveling from out of town. To view and book a hotel room through a special rate, click the link below.
We are so excited to see you all on our big day. In the interest of ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests, vendors, and venue employees, we kindly request that you to take a Rapid Antigen Test and confirm your negative result before attending our wedding. We know this creates an additional inconvenience but we are deeply grateful to you for taking these additional steps to protect the health of others.
As we finalize our special day, we will prioritize sharing information and details to help our loved ones plan for the weekend. Please be on the lookout for more information.
