His Story

Do not let anyone tell you that persistence is not key. The prelude to this relationship all began with a like of a picture and a flirty message on Instagram. I could see Christine's personality and beauty shining through the pictures and videos in which she shared on social media so naturally I had to shoot my shot.

Years passed and I finally saw her in person. Christine was in her element, just dancing and vibing at the Grandiose New Years Gala. When I turned and saw her, it was as if the dance floor parted just for me to make my way towards her. I approached with a huge smile on my face. We danced and exchanged numbers.

Six months passed before we went on our first date. We spent the evening eating, drinking, and laughing. Our conversation flowed so effortlessly as if we had known each other for years. From that point on we were inseparable! Call me crazy, but I knew then that she was going to be my wife!

Over the years, we have traveled, grown together, and even survived a National Pandemic in a one-bedroom apartment. Our bond continues to grow stronger and stronger. Christine, you are the woman of my dreams and luckily for me, dreams really do turn into reality!

Her Story

It was January 1, 2018. The clock just struck 12 am and we're now in a new year. My best friend and I decided to go to our first New Year's Gala in the city (DC), and we were having the time of our lives... then time stopped. I see this high yellow, fine man, charging towards me. As he got closer, my friend and I soon realized that he was the guy who had been following me on Instagram for quite some time and always liked or commented on my pictures.

He soon approached me, and the conversation flowed as if we'd known each other forever. I immediately gave him my number with my signature emojis:)

We ended up going on our first date 6 months later, and from then on we were inseparable! After years of traveling, living together, and growing together, Chris proposed to me at our family's Christmas Eve Brunch at Black Wall Hitch. I went in for mimosas and came out a FIANCE!

This journey has been such a beautiful ride! I can't wait to say "I do" with my baby! I love you, Christopher Michael!
